The True Dream
A downloadable game for Windows
This game took place in a world called “Sprite World.” Citizens living in this world were called “sprite people.” Ballet was the most popular thing in the Sprite World. Appreciating ballet showed people’s high social class. Therefore, ballet dancers were respected by sprite people and stood in the high place of the social class. However, it was very competitive to be a good reputation ballet dancer.
Odette was a talented ballet dancer, but her interest (true dream) was singing. Everyone in the ballet community expected her to be the new leading dancer to inherit the former leading dancer’s achievements.
You, the player, will be Odette's ballet manager to explore her true dream and encourage her to fight for it.
- Control = tap in words with your keyboard
- Things to do: set stage, talk to Odette and her teacher, enter and explore Odette's inner world, encourage Odette, etc.
- Useful keywords: set, talk to, get, give, encourage, walk, etc.

Very nice presentation and theme! Revealing of animations and transitions were great. Unfortunately a few commands were slightly unclear or didn't seem to work properly, such as responding to Odette four sections in. Maybe I'm missing something obvious.

Love the splash screen! And the concept for this game. This is a cool tech demo / prototype.
While playing, I found a few minor bugs. Several times, I got confused about what commands to use, and had to restart. But I figured it out, and the effort was worth it.
Inner worlds are fascinating. And the in-game help system was nicely helpful. Go summerfungus!
